$10 for 10 Years

It is our ten year anniversary we are asking everyone to make a pledge to the DSA. If everyone in the Diocese of Gallup pledged just $10 this year there would be more than enough resources to help those in need throughout our diocese.

So in honor of our 10th make a pledge to the DSA and help those in need throughout the Diocese of Gallup.

Funding Applications

Looking for Funding Applications?

Still waiting for a funding application in the mail? Catholic Peoples Foundation will no longer be mailing funding applications to organizations and parishes throughout our diocese. In an effort to cut expenses all applications are now available online. The foundation will only send paper applications to those organizations who specifically request one, for everyone else applications for funding may be found by clicking the applications link at the top of the page.

As the expenses of running a business continue to rise, the foundation is actively seeking ways to cut cost and provide the most resources to those who need it the most. That is why the foundation will continue to add online services and resources to our website. Continue to visit our site for updates on available services and resources online.

Welcome from our Executive Director

Catholic Peoples Foundation is thankful to our Board of Directors for their service and vision. Our volunteer board donates their time and talents to the purpose and the mission of the foundation and the Diocese of Gallup.

Another unique fact concerining our fundraising effort is that the money raised by our annual appeal—the Diocesan Services Appeal—is put right back to work in our diocese. On average, about 80 cents of every dollar raised by our foundation is used for the mission work in our mission diocese!

Which brings up another interesting fact: of the missions recognized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Home Missions, the Diocese of Gallup is often considered one of the largest and poorest. Yes, your donations could not mean more to the people who are touched by your generosity. In this part of the country, we need and use every dime we receive!

So please browse our site with an open mind, a willing soul, and a grateful heart. And if you find God is calling you to the mission work of our humble diocese, please join us. There are many ways to help: prayer, volunteerism—and of course making a gift. We need and welcome all!

Giving to the Catholic Peoples Foundation:

There are many ways to give to the Catholic Peoples Foundation serving the Diocese of Gallup New Mexico and Arizona. We appreciate your interest in the people and the Catholic Faith in the Diocese of Gallup. Below is an explanation of the many ways to give to the foundation, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Giving through a restricted fund...

Restricted funds are endowments or gifts made with a specific purpose in mind. Donors may make a gift to an existing endowment fund already managed by the foundation or create their own endowment. Donors may also make a gift and restrict it for a specific purpose. For example, if a donor wishes to make a gift that benefits the seminarians in the Diocese of Gallup they may want to restrict their gift to be given to the Seminarian Endowment Fund already managed by the Catholic Peoples Foundation. If a donor wishes to make a gift that benefits a specific parish or Catholic school the donor simply needs to state that restriction when making the gift.

Giving through unrestricted funds...

Unrestricted gifts are the easiest gifts to make to the Catholic Peoples Foundation. As with restricted gifts you can make them by click the "Make a Donation Today" link on our website or by sending a check to the foundation office. Simply mark your gift as unrestricted when making the gift and your funds will be used where the foundation board of directors and staff see most fit. Often times Parishes and Schools make special requests to the foundation office and unrestricted gifts help us ensure every organization that we serve is getting the support they need.
