The Catholic Peoples’ Foundation (CPF) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization, founded in 1998 by Bishop Donald E. Pelotte. The Foundation exists to assist individuals who wish to provide lasting financial support to Catholic religious, educational, and charitable organizations that serve the faithful in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gallup, New Mexico.

Job Summary
Reporting to the CPF Board of Trustees, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibilities of the CPF. As ED you will be expected to lead and oversee all financial development activity. The ED will manage and operate providing leadership, direction, and accountability. The ED will initially develop deep understanding and ties to our diocese and communities and effectively nurture all existing and future relationships that help provide stability and growth for the CPF. A practicing Catholic in good standing with the church and a passion for the missions of the Roman Catholic Church is expected.
Leadership & Management
- Ensure an authentic Catholic ethos for all CPF activities and programs
- Ensure ongoing local program excellence through rigorous program evaluation and consistent over site of administration, fundraising, communications, and systems to achieve the strategic goals
- Actively engage and energize all CPF employees, volunteers, board members, event committees, partnering organizations, and funders
- Develop, maintain, and support a strong board of trustees, serve as ex-officio of each committee, seek and build board involvement with strategic direction for ongoing local operations as well as for any national/international relationships
- Ensure effective systems to track and evaluate program components so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the Bishop, the board, funders and all other pertinent entities
- Develop an annual budget for Board approval and manage organization’s financial resources within budgetary guidelines in an ethical manner
- Ensure foundation is in compliance with all federal, state, and Church regulations
Fundraising & Communications
- Expand local revenue generating and organizing fundraising activities to support existing CPF program operations and regional goals and development. Deepen and refine all aspects of communications-from web presence to social media exposure with the goal of creating a stronger and viable presence in our region and nation
Salary
- Negotiable based on qualifications and experience, may include travel expense supplement
