An Endowment Fund to help pay for Diocesan Healthcare Costs.
Everyone is experiencing increased costs in this economy, and as our priests continue to age, the average healthcare costs are projected to continue to rise. In addition to being one of the poorest mission dioceses in the United States, we have become reliant on fewer and smaller donations. In this uncertain time, a new restricted endowment to cover these recurring costs is imperative. For those on the front lines, especially our priests, it is an important way to support them and provide peace of mind so that they may focus completely on their mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
